BIRTHDAY BOOK CLUB

For children ages 1-8, ask us how you can receive

a FREE book during the month of your child's birthday!

 

Toddler Story Hour

Children accompanied by an adult caregiver are welcome to share in stories, songs, and rhymes at this story time. It is followed by a free play period.

Program is every Monday morning
at 10:00am and 11:00am

 

Mother Goose on the Loose

An early childhood literacy program for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers. A short program of stories, rhymes, and active music play is followed by playtime.

Program is every Thursday at 10am
 

Curious Readers Club

2nd - 5th graders
Bring a book to share and sign up for our next book
TBD. Space is limited so registration is required.

TEEN PROGRAMS


Pages 'N Pizza

Join our middle school book discussion while
enjoying pizza. All registered students
(6th-8th grade) will get one copy of "Ms. Bixby's
Last Day" by John David Anderson to keep!

Afternoon Movie @ the Library

After this half day of school, enjoy a movie.
Title: "Middle school, the worst years of my life"

Teen Cuisine

Krystal Avila will present this hands-on cooking
program that teaches students in grades 6-12
important life skills for eating smart. This is a
6-week session on Tuesday afternoons.
Registration is required.

Beginning Tuesday, January 23rd: 3:00 - 4:00pm

 

ADULT PROGRAMS


Color Me Happy

Coloring isn't just for kids anymore! Join us for
coloring in various designs and patterns. This
practice stimulates the brain while generating
wellness and quietness. This event will take place
the second Monday of every month.

Monday, January 8th: 2:00pm-3:30pm

 

Adult Book Club

Join us in the program room for our adult book
club meeting. We will have two sessions on
the second Tuesday of every month.

Tuesday, January 9th:
noon and 6:00pm at the library
Title: In order to live : a North Korean girl's
journey to freedom by Yeonmi Park

 

Tai Chi

Ed Kehoe leads the group in Sun Style Tai Chi.
Cost is $80 for the 8 week session or $12 per session.

Begins Wednesday, January 10th - 6:00 - 7:00pm

coaster with alcohol ink. Space is limited

Library users with a valid library card can print
a pass to one of the 70+ participating cultural
institutions at the michiganactivitypass.info
website. Some cultural partners offer complimentary
or reduced price admission; others, discounts in their
gift shop or other exclusive offers. Each Michigan
Activity Pass expires one week from the date it is printed.
