Come use the library's new Chromebooks
and learn simple game coding! Bring your
earbuds or headphones if you have them.
Registration is required as space is limited.

Family Games / Lego Club
Drop in every Thursday from 3pm-5pm
to build and play games. Games and Legos
provided or bring your own!
Sign up for our 8-week Sun style Tai Chi classes
taught by Ed Kehoe. Cost is $80 for 8 classes.

BIRTHDAY BOOK CLUB
For children ages 1-8, ask us how you can receive
a FREE book during the month of your child's birthday!
Toddler Story Hour
Children accompanied by an adult caregiver are welcome to share in stories,
songs, and rhymes at this story time. It is followed by a free play period.
Program is every Monday morning
at 10:00am and 11:00am
Mother Goose on the Loose
An early childhood literacy program for babies, toddlers, and their
caregivers. A short program of stories, rhymes, and active music play is followed
Program is every Thursday at 10am
Family Movie @ the Library
Come join us for some family fun at the library.
Enjoy a free movie in our Program room.
Snacks will be provided. Movies are shown at
6:00pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Summer Reading Program
Through the end of August...
Keep reading this summer...as you fill up your
reading log, bring it in for prizes or raffle entries.
Our final adult raffle drawing is August 31st.
NATIONAL PARKS 100TH ANNIVERSARY!
This year marks the 100th anniversary of our
National Parks. Check out our U.S. map display
next to the fireplace. Write down your family name
and all the National Parks you have visited on the
notepads provided. We will put your family name
on the map next to all the locations you listed!
Display will be up through September!
MAKE YOUR OWN STEPPING STONE
Participants age 16 and up will learn how to
make some original stepping stones for your
yard. All materials will be provided. Space is
limited so registration is required.

A comic book, gaming, cosplay convention for
all ages. Hosted by Kalamazoo Public Library,
Lawton Public Library, Paw Paw District Library,
Portage District Library and Van Buren District Library

MICHIGAN ACTIVITY PASS
Library users with a valid library card can print
a pass to one of the 70+ participating cultural
institutions at the
website. Some cultural partners offer complimentary
or reduced price admission; others, discounts in their
gift shop or other exclusive offers. Each Michigan
Activity Pass expires one week from the date it is printed.
