Curiosity Bag - Preschool Activity Bag
Play! Create! Investigate! Designed for kids ages 3-5, each bag contains
3-4 activities based around a monthly theme. July's theme is ocean animals.

Bird Beak Game
To find out what a bird likes to eat, all you have to do is look at their beak! In this game, you will test
out different types of "beaks" to find more about how a bird's beak influences what they eat.

SRP: Reptile Roundup - Sarett Nature Center
Whether they crawl, swim, jump, or slither, reptiles play an important role in our environment.
Come see the live animal ambassadors, and hear naturalist talk about these different species.
Registration is required by calling the library at 657-3800. Program is limited to 30 participants.

SRP: Interactive Movie Week
Don't just watch a movie. Take an active role in it! Use script prompts and props to respond to
movie scenes. Each kit contains prompt sheets, props to use throughout the movie, and a craft
to do before watching. Kits are available for the following movies: Finding Nemo, How to Train Your
Dragon, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Zootopia, Rio, and Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.

Why does a porcupine have spikes? How does camouflage work? We'll use hands-on
